Gizpel – No Surrender

Judging by their band photo Gizpel not only have a love of English football but the UK post punk scene too. Unlike many of their peers who pay homage to all things Sarah Records Gizpel’s music veers towards the early 1980’s indiepop sounds that was found on labels such as Rough Trade, Cherry Red, Factory et al. The likes of The Wake and The Monochrome Set certainly spring to my mind on the first listens. Grab it from here.
