Don’t Cry Shopgirl – Bring Me Home

Bring Me Home is the lead track from the excellently named Swedish band Don’t Cry Shopgirl’s debut 7″ single. There was a time, almost 10 years ago now, that all I seemed to listen too was Swedish indiepop via self released CDRs  and this track reminds me of that time. It’s influenced by the bands of the C86 (dare I say twee?) era but it’s done oh, so well. Marvellous and I will be ordering a copy come payday!

You can pre-order the single from Cloudberry Records.
