Beach Youth – Waves and Memories

wavesAfter being blown away by their track Days which appears on the American Sole compilation I conclude that French indie poppers Beach Youth certainly sound like a combination of The Lodger and Bricolage with hints of Postcard era Orange Juice thrown in for good measure. However regardless of who their sound reminds me of they make cracking tunes and a bit of digging reveals two more tracks.

Waves is taken from a compilation entitled Citrus City Vol 1 which has been put together by Virginian DIY label Citrus City Records. You can get the compilation here.

And a Soundcloud search reveals a third track Memories.
